So I don't know about any of you, but when I think "Anne Bishop", I automatically think "Black Jewels". Her other work--Tir Alainn, Ephemera, her short stories--come second.

Thoughts on her other novels and stories? How much have you read? Did you find yourself enjoying them?

I just finished reading the shadow Queen! And can I just say *squeeeee* It's the first time I've read Anne Bishop in a while (over a year) *not quite sure why* and I absolutely loved it.

What are your thoughts or favourite moments from the book?

I think it's high time I stepped up and did this, because if I don't, the "Update" post will have three hundred comments, but the community will hold all of three posts. :)

Ergo: I'm Elenna, your friendly mod (don't let the username fool you). I swear sometimes Bishop is an addiction, as evidenced by the fact that I've read pretty much everything she's written, and her books are among the few that I'll grab in hardcover once they're out. I've a soft spot for Daemon, Saetan runs a close second, and Surreal is just awesome.

The rest of her series are excellent (did anyone else find the last part of Belladonna rather rushed?), but the Black Jewels universe sits at the top, I think. That, and the woman needs to write faster, as the sequel to The Shadow Queen isn't out until March of next year!
